Grade D Part I.Drama critics write reviews of plays to give their opinion of a performance. In one paragraph, write a review of Robert's play for his school newspaper. Use your imagination to fill in the details, but include details from the story, too.
The school play you have to have a really good spelling grade to do it.
The people who know how to spell probaly have a better memory than the other people have. But some people who have good grades are. Ot good at remembering stuff probaly.
A critic would probably not know how students were chosen to have lines in the play. Pretend that you were in the audience and now you are writing what you thought of the play. Start with a sentence that states whether the play was good or bad. Then write two sentences about the play that make you believe it was a good or bad production.
2. What message or theme do you think the author is trying to get across in “The School Play”. Write at least two sentences, one to list the theme and one to explain how what happened in the story shows this theme.
It doesn't matter how smart you are.
The theme is at the school play.
Think about what Robert learned from this experience. That would be the message the author trying to use the story to tell.
